KITAPOLENG was initiated, founded, and dedicated by Dibal Ranuh and Jasmine Okubo as an arena and meeting space for multidisciplinary arts. As a creative platform, KITAPOLENG’s works are the result of collaborative processes involving experts from various fields, aiming to produce creations that are both idealistic and innovative in form.

Recognizing that art is inherently dynamic, KITAPOLENG strives to create works that are grounded and responsive to the demands and developments of their time. Nearly all of KITAPOLENG’s productions depart from tradition as a conceptual foundation in giving birth to diverse imaginative expressions. Established traditional art forms become the point of departure for deeper development and exploration—provocative in nature—while opening up new possibilities to be rediscovered and reinterpreted.
